Know the plight of women in poverty
From the villages of Kenya to the slums of Bangladesh, women and girls suffer the most from poverty and lack of opportunity. As they seek to feed their families, they can be conned by promises of quick loans and well-paid jobs. But this is often a trap, and many get caught in a nightmare of exorbitant debt, blackmail, prostitution, and even slavery. Understanding how this makes them vulnerable is the first step in helping.

As women in North America, we are extraordinarily blessed. Most of us have ample food, shelter, and access to education. As a Woman of Purpose, your monthly donation of $35 will bring life, opportunity and hope to women and children.
