Vocational & business training

Developing talents to bring income and hope

World Concern strives to empower people to take control of their own destinies and pursue meaningful work, incomes that will give them a chance to climb out of poverty.

Our vocational training spans many of the 22 countries we serve.

In Laos we teach people how to raise chickens, ducks, pigs and fish. We provide seed loans and training to help hundreds of local farmers increase their yields of soybean and corn.

In Haiti we show men and women how to produce briquettes for household fuel by using corn stalks and manure.

Entrepreneurs in Kenya learn how to string beads, sell tea and tailor clothes.

In communities across the world we are reminded that anything is possible when a determined person seizes an opportunity and receives proper training.
