Michael Bury

Serving thru photography in Asia

Micheal BuryMichael is a sports and portraiture photographer based in the Seattle area of Washington State. He is a largely self-taught photographer and has long searched for a way to combine his interest in image making with his faith and his concern for impoverished children around the world.  Michael wants to create aesthetically and emotionally moving images to convey the plight of those children and inspire help to relieve that plight wherever possible. Michael has traveled to rural/agricultural Mexico on construction mission trips since 2007.

Michael is the proud dad of nine-year-old Logan and college junior Renee and husband of beautiful Sheri, who all inspire him to heights of faith and service he could never have envisioned in himself.  Michael dedicates his efforts to them; they show him the path forward and are the beacon to guide him home.

Our fieldworkers

Serving in some of the most difficult places on Earth

Our staff includes more than 900 people. Although some fieldworkers come from the UK or America, 95% of us are citizens of the countries where we work. It gives us a better understanding of the problems we face on a daily basis. Additionally, by employing citizens of the countries where we work, we employ some of the people we may otherwise provide with aid.
