Run or Walk to Stop Human Trafficking

It's back! The 5th annual "Free Them" 5k/10k to fight human trafficking returns on Saturday, May 11, 2013! Last year's event drew nearly 2,000 participants and raised $143,000 to protect women and children from trafficking.

The event is a fun, tangible way to take a stand against one of the most horrific crimes of our generation. The "Free Them" 5k/10k raises awareness and funds for World Concern's anti-trafficking programs, which help protect the poor and vulnerable, providing opportunities for education and to earn income safely. Free Them 5k Portland

It's here! The 1st Annual Portland "Free Them" 5K Fun Run/Walk to fight human trafficking on Saturday, May 25th, 2013! This annual event in Seattle has drawn thousands of partipiants over the years and now it's headed to Portland! Last year (the 5th Annual in Seattle), the event drew nearly 2,000 participants and raised $143,000 to protect women and children from trafficking. Clean Water for the World, Miles of Mud for You!

World Concern’s 5k Mud Run is back, offering miles of mud, obstacles, and an ultra-slippery 5k course, on July 20, 2013. The event is aimed at offering advocates for clean water a way to raise money to help others, and have a blast at the same time.

Lack of access to clean water affects more than one in six people around the world today. Dirty water and poor sanitation lead to more deaths around the world than any other cause. You can make a difference. You can be the change you want to see in the world.
