Helping Without Hurting

Seattle Helping Without Hurting Seminar

Have you ever wondered if your ministry to the poor is really making a difference? The paradigm-shifting book When Helping Hurts has caused many churches and ministry leaders to ask: What do we do next in our efforts to help people who are poor at home and abroad? In response, the co-authors of the book, Dr. Brian Fikkert and Steve Corbett of the Chalmers Center for Economic Development, are offering a one-day seminar entitled Helping Without Hurting: The Next Step. World Concern will host the seminar at New Life Church June 23, 2012. Click here to register now.

5k Mud Run

5K Mud Run

Poverty and sickness are serious subjects, but you can still have a great time and bring solutions. That’s the idea behind World Concern’s 5k Mud Run on Saturday, July 21, at Island Lake Camp in Poulsbo, Wash. Slop through obstacles, giant puddles and miles of mud—all for a good cause: helping bring clean water to people who need it most.
