About Donating

InterConnection Logo

It’s an easy way to give – and provides a valuable resource for reaching the world’s poorest. World Concern has teamed with InterConnection to refurbish and donate a portion of all laptops received to field offices in places like Bangladesh, Haiti, Kenya and Myanmar. Laptops are a vital tool in information gathering, teaching and planning relief work.

Four Great Reasons

  1. It's Free: We pay shipping costs for certain laptops and no recycling fees for any computer.
  2. Safe and Secure: All data destroyed for free.
  3. It Helps Others: Computers are refurbished and provided to people in need.
  4. You Get A Tax Break: As a non-profit we provide receipts for tax-deduction purposes.

Three Easy Steps!

  1. Prepare

Fill out the form to the side. You will receive an email response based on the type of computer you plan to donate. We accept all computers and monitors, working or not, for free by mail. Only donors who send working Pentium III or better laptops and Mac laptops receive a pre-paid shipping label.

We destroy data on ALL donated computers for free. However, if you want to do it you can download this free data wiping software.

  1. Package

Wrap the computer with newspaper or bubble wrap and place it in a cardboard box.

  2. Ship

If you qualify for free shipping you must ship through U.S. Postal Service. You can give the package to your mail carrier or take it directly to a post office. If you don't qualify for free shipping use the most convenient shipping service available.

You will be mailed a donation receipt for a tax write-off once we receive the donation.
